Skateboard

Electric skateboarding is becoming more and more popular and it's not just the younger ones who love this new alternative to traditional skateboarding. Even adults have begun to appreciate it, because we have to admit it: the advantages that an electric scooter can offer are really very much! First of all it is a completely ecological vehicle that can replace the bike but also the car: to get around the city is ideal because you can reach a good speed. To this we must add the fact that it has an affordable price, is easy to transport and does not take up much space. It allows us to move around in an eco-sustainable and healthy way, with the convenience of an engine that makes it much easier to cover greater distances.

Which electric skateboard to choose as a first purchase?
If you've never used an electric or normal skateboard, then I recommend buying a longboard.

This is because the board is much longer than the pennyboard and in this way it will be easier for you to adapt.

So as soon as you learn to use the longboard you can choose whether to switch to a penny or buy a more performing longboard.

As I said before, between the two skate categories there is a big difference, and the pennyboard is more difficult to use especially at the beginning for this reason.
Now that you've seen what the electric skateboard is we can discover its main features, namely the batteries, the motor, the wheels, the remote control and the charger.

Batteries
The main feature of electric skate is without a doubt the battery! Initially they were equipped with very heavy batteries (40-60 kg), but today lithium batteries are more innovative and lighter and safety is also improved.

therefore I advise you to carefully follow the manufacturer's instructions regarding the battery charge.

Engine
The choice of the engine depends above all on the place where you live or where you intend to use this vehicle. Today you find engines in the 400-2,000 Watt range. A 400 Watt motor is perfect for moving on the flat even if the acceleration will not be the best; while for the steepest climbs and roads a 2,000 Watt motor is recommended.

Wheels
Like the classic boards, the electric skate is equipped with wheels that are also suitable for cracked ground. There are smoother wheels, perfect for racing, and hard wheels, suitable for road journeys.

TV remote
the speed of electric skateboards is regulated by a wireless remote control. Generally it is a wireless handheld controller to be used while driving, equipped with indicator lights that indicate, for example, the battery charge level or the verification of a system error.

Battery charger
Each table has its own unique loader (even if there are adapters) and the charging time depends on the model.

Some charge the battery in less than half an hour, others take 3 to 5 hours.
